Event Report of the Monthly Meeting of Delhi State chapter of IRIA held on 1st of June 2024, Saturday at Aakash Healthcare Super Specialty Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi

The third monthly meeting of the Delhi State chapter of IRIA for 2024 was held on 1st of June 2024 at the Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi.

The meeting was chaired by the President of Delhi State chapter of IRIA, Dr. Ajit Yadav. The meeting was coordinated by Dr Abhishek Bansal (Senior Consultant and Chief Interventional Radiology, Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi. IRIA Delhi executive members Dr Stanzin Spalkit, Dr Stuti Chandola and Dr Mohak Narang from AIIMS exhibited full commitment in organization and execution of the event!

Dr. Ankur Goyal, secretary of the Delhi State chapter welcomed the members and expressed gratitude to Dr. Meinal Chaudhry, Senior Consultant & Director, Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi for her support in organizing the meeting and helping in providing a platform to budding radiologists to showcase their work.

The session began with an interesting spotter session with a diverse range of cases showcased by Dr. Shalabh Jain, Senior Consultant at Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi.

This was followed by case presentations by residents which were judged by Dr. Simran Singh (Head of Department, Imaging and Interventional Radiology, Venkateshwar Hospital) and Dr. Pankaj Sharma (Additional Professor, Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology, AIIMS, Rishikesh). The following presentations were done:

All the presenting residents were given complimentary registration to the annual conference of Delhi State Chapter of IRIA (DIU 2024) and the best presentation was given sponsorship for the annual conference of national IRIA (AOCR 2025). The meeting was attended by more than 30 members from all over Delhi including radiology residents, faculty and practicing radiologists.

The Meeting ended with special thanks to all the members of Delhi State chapter for their presence and active participation in the meeting.
