The 1st monthly meeting of Delhi State Chapter of IRIA for 2023 session was held on 28th January, 2023 at Lecture Theater 1, College Building, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital.
The meeting was co-ordinated by Dr Amita Malik, Professor & Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital. The meeting received a great response and was attended by more than 100 members from all over Delhi including radiology residents, faculty members and practicing radiologists.
Many senior radiologists including Dr. Rajesh Gothi, DR. OP Bansal, Dr. Shabnam Bhandari Grover, Dr. Anju Garg, Faculty members from SJH Hospital and executive members of Delhi IRIA were present in the meeting.
The meeting started with Welcome address from Dr. Deepak Gupta, President, Delhi State Chapter, IRIA.
This was followed by case presentations by residents. There were 8 oral presentations which were judged by Dr. Rajesh Gothi, Dr. Anju Garg & Dr. Jyoti Kumar.
A very interesting spotter session was conducted by Dr Neha Bagri, Associate Professor, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks by Dr Ankur Goyal, Secretary, Delhi State Chapter IRIA.

- The best post-graduate student award for the session 2022-2023 was presented to Dr. Arpit Garg (VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital). He was awarded a medal, certificate and a gift.
- All the case presenters were awarded certificates and gifts.
- In addition, the following presenters were declared the best and were given award certificates. The best presenters of oral case presentations will also be awarded complimentary registration to Delhi Imaging Update 2023, the annual national conference of Delhi state chapter of IRIA.
